An integral part of the Lord’s promises to the Jewish people includes their ancient homeland, the nation of Israel.  After nearly 2,000 years of exile among the nations, God has been bringing the Jewish people home in great numbers—a modern fulfillment of the promise He made through the prophet Jeremiah:

“Therefore behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of the north and from all the countries where He had banished them.’ For I will restore them to their own land which I gave to their fathers’” (Jeremiah 16:14-15).

At Ezra International, we rejoice at the Lord’s faithfulness in bringing the Jewish people back to the Promised Land.  Their return to Israel after hundreds years in the Diaspora underscores God’s unchanging, unconditional promises to their forefathers.
